His office, he said, was also on track for the revival of the East London, King William‘s Town and Alice services as well as the use of the Apple Express as a passenger service for rural communities like Patensie and Humansdorp.
Well this is the first new rail project which will spearhead all other projects ie Apple Express running to Humansdorp and Patensie,King Williams to Alice as this railway lines have been virtually unused for 10-20 years.
This will revitalise our failing rail industry, reduce the road congestion by allowing more freight to run by rail versus trucks.
Lets hope the rail service is reliable otherwise it can be a wasted project and competitive with existing trucking industry.
